Colorado {Part Four)

I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to see two of my favorite artists perform together at the breathtaking Red Rocks Amphitheatre!  Ray LaMontagne and David Gray put on an incredibly spellbinding performance that will never be forgotten.  My camera was "too big" to bring in to the concert according to the amphitheatre rules, so I ventured back the next day to get some nice shots.  Much to my advantage, I got to enjoy Sheryl Crow's sound check as she prepared for her concert that night!

A nice view from the top of the amphitheatre...

Sheryl Crow's set

The Denver skyline as viewed from Red Rocks!

So, I don't typically post self portraits on my blog, however, I felt it was necessary to do so since these next few are photos of myself that I actually like.....VERY RARE!  I gave my brother a quick lesson in photography and was very proud of him for taking direction and achieving the shot I described as my vision!

Getting some running in...I could get used to running here with Sheryl Crow singing live instead of my iPod!

This could quite possibly be my favorite self portrait ever!  Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you can't see my face...LOL!

And AGAIN with my shoe obsession!

We rented ATV's and road them up the mountain to an abandoned mine shaft!  I had such a great time kicking up dirt!

The Three Amigos--with three beams of sunlight accompanying us! (NO THEY WERE NOT ADDED WITH PHOTOSHOP--All natural!)

An old mine machine...

And the old mine!  The sign says KEEP OUT...do you think we listened?

It was very COLD and extremely creepy so I didn't venture too far inside the mine shaft!

  1. If I had to take a guess, I'd bet that that brother of yours is down-right awesome! SMH! I'm pretty sure he's proud of his sister’s remarkable talents too! P dot
